THE POLAR EXPRESS

This last weekend all of Nathan's family went to Durango to ride the POLAR EXPRESS. It was quite exciting to be able to go to the North Pole and see Santa. Collin really doesn't know what is going on yet, but still it was fun. Santa kind of scared the little guy a bit I think. He didn't cry but could only stare up at him with his big brown eyes. Her are some pictures of the trip.

I am so thankful for family and the time we get to spend with them. I hope that everyone has a Merry Christmas

October - Present

So it has been awhile for me, but I want to share some pics of the last few months.

HALLOWEEN!!!!

SO CUTE!!!!!!

CAMPING!!!!!!

So we went on this camping adventure with Sean and Melanie (and Buster), and Marcus, Tracy, and Jack. It was nice to get away for the weekend and Nathan got to hang out with his buddies. I'm pretty sure that the all the boys will agree that next time it will just be a guys trip.

Collin walking Buster.

Buster walking Collin.
I thought that the river would be so much fun for Collin. I took his shoes and socks off, rolled his pants up, tried to put his feet in the water, and of course he didn't like that. So I got him all dressed again and all he wanted to do was get in the water. I love him so much.

Collin doesn't get dirty often but when he does h does a pretty good job of it.

Packing up!!

THANKSGIVING!!!

We met at Nathan's parents house with his moms family. It is nice to be around family. This is a moment I will never forget. Collin was in serious need ofa nap so I gave him his "Bob" and banket he was on my lap for awhile but climbed down and went to Grandpa John. It wa so cute they both almost got a nap until Collin choked a little on his juice. Then he was energized and ready to get back to playing.

The day after Thanksgiving I went to my mom's house to help her get her tree up. Grandad took Collin outside to play. This is what I found going on when I went to check on them. My dad said he got sick of pushing him so he decided to pull him.

And finally we had my family Christmas party. All 35 of us made it.

THE HUNT IS OVER

Nathan got his elk!!!! Finally!!!! I always tell Nathan when hunting season comes around that I still love him, but i usually don't like him this time of year. I'm glad that he has something that he enjoys doing though, I like hunting too, but his hunts are always way more fun and time consuming them my cow hunts. Plus the reward is WAY bigger.

So I guess I get to tell the story. Last Friday evening we went out huntg. When we left Nolan said we were going to kill an elk. Well we did. It didn't take long to find one, but once he shot him we couldn't find him. They looked all day Saturday and still no elk. Sunday we got a call and is Uncle Coman and Toby had found him. We were so ooo excited. The meat was of course spoiled which sucks, but Nathan got his elk. It was actually an elk that people have been trying to kill for about 5 years now. He was somewhat of a legend. Nathan couldn't be happier. It is actually almost exactly the same size as the one we have on our wall already so they will look great next to each other.

MY DARLING CHILD

So I haven'f posted for a long time, not that nothing has happened I just get so frustrated sometimes doing one of these that I usually get half way done and click out of it. I kinda suck at all this I think. Anyhow here are some random pics of MY DARLING CHILD.

This is my favorite picture of all, but for some reason it only will show up this way.

COLLIN AND I AT WORK

I get to take Collin to work with me, which means that I have the greatest job ever. (Well that's how I feel most days.) Collin enjoys it most of the time, he especially enjoys it when he is getting into trouble. Here are a few pics just to show what I get to enjoy each day.

He found a walking stick,
which by the way he doesn't
need anymore. HE WALKS!!!!
He's a pretty good driver:)

This may look like potty training but it is really just something to laugh at later.

He was so excited, he had been looking at that bed for months and I finally let him play up there. Well he didn't waste anytime getting to where he wanted. The picture is blurry because he is jumping up and down. If there is something to climb, this kid will climb it to the very top.

Playing in the crapper.

After conquering the bed, the next day he decided to move on. My heart jumped into my throat when I looked over at him and saw this. I'm telling you to the top he goes.

MASTERING THE ART OF WALKING

He is getting pretty good at this. I;m still not sure why we are encouraging this, but it is so darn cute. Sometimes he will take a few steps and then crack himself up. His mom and dad think that it is pretty funny too. I really think that he would walk if he could go as fast as he can crawl, but those little legs just can't keep up with him yet.

EXCITING DRAW RESULTS

Last august Nathan shot this 155 lbs lion. He hasn't got the scole back yet but they think it might be one of the top five in the state.
He also did a lot of hunting with his brother. other than being together when he got the lion, they both were able to take deer with their bows and
Nolan shot a bull scoring over 400.
The good news is that we both got drawn for elk this year. Mine is just a cow tag, but Nathan got his coveted archery 3C tag again. So come August I become a hunting widow, but hopefully it will pay off and he will get another big one.

Collin had his 1st Birthday

Collin's birthday was April 16th. He loved his Birthday. We had Grandma's and Grandpa's here and cousins. I think this was his favorite part. I'm pretty sure that he should have got sick but he didn't (thank goodness for me). We missed Grandma Ruby at the party, she passed away last Monday morning and had to watch from a little farther away. She always said " he's so precious." If she only knew.

He loved his new bike so much he didn't even bother to get off of it to play with his other new toys, it was very cute. There is a pretty sexy guy in the background too if you ask me.

And the night ended with presents.
